Terms of Service.
Effective date: July 23, 2026
These terms govern sponsorship with PinkSlip RE, a licensed Texas real estate brokerage. By paying the sponsorship fee, you agree to the terms below.
What the fee buys
The sponsorship fee purchases annual sponsorship of your Texas real estate license by PinkSlip RE. The fee covers onboarding and administrative setup: processing your sponsorship request, establishing your agent file, and preparing your agreement and payout records.
The fee is earned when sponsorship is approved. The sponsorship fee is non-refundable and non-prorated once sponsorship is approved. Ending your sponsorship at any point during the year does not entitle you to a refund of any portion of the fee.
TREC approval
Sponsorship is not effective until the Texas Real Estate Commission approves your sponsorship request. Until TREC approves it, you are not sponsored by PinkSlip RE and may not act under our sponsorship.
We will tell you what we know about the reason for denial and, where the issue is correctable, work with you on a resubmission.
Eligibility
By purchasing sponsorship, you represent that you hold a Texas real estate license in good standing and eligible for sponsorship transfer. PinkSlip RE cannot complete sponsorship if TREC denies the request. If TREC denies your sponsorship request, PinkSlip RE will refund the sponsorship fee in full. Once sponsorship is approved, the fee is not refundable or prorated.
Renewal
Sponsorship is annual. It renews on the anniversary of your original payment date, billed to the payment method on file at the rate then applicable to you. We will send a renewal notice to your email address on file before the renewal date. You may cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next year's charge. Renewal fees, once paid, are subject to the same non-refundable terms described above.
30-day money-back guarantee
PinkSlip RE offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on a member's first annual sponsorship fee. If you request a refund within 30 days of your initial payment, PinkSlip RE will refund the $99.95 sponsorship fee in full. This guarantee applies only to the first year of sponsorship and does not apply to renewal payments. Requesting a refund ends your sponsorship and TREC sponsorship request, if one has already been submitted.
Referral compensation
Sponsored agents keep 80% of every referral fee received by the brokerage on a referral you originate. A $47 payment processing fee is deducted per payout. PinkSlip RE retains the remaining balance.
Compensation is payable only on referral fees actually received by the brokerage. Referral fees are governed by the referral agreement applicable to each transaction.
Scope of the model
Sponsored agents are sponsored for referral activity only. Under this sponsorship, you may not:
- Represent buyers or sellers.
- List property.
- Show property.
- Negotiate on behalf of a party to a transaction.
- Otherwise practice as a producing agent.
Your role is to identify and refer clients to actively producing agents and brokerages. If you want to return to production, you will need to transfer your sponsorship to a brokerage that supports it.
Personal transactions
Texas license holders must disclose their license status in writing when entering into a personal real estate transaction. That obligation applies to you while sponsored by PinkSlip RE. You will not earn a commission through PinkSlip RE on your own transaction. If you have questions about a specific situation, contact the broker before entering into an agreement.
Termination
Either party may end the sponsorship relationship at any time. To leave, you transfer your TREC sponsorship to another brokerage; we will release your sponsorship promptly. PinkSlip RE may end a sponsorship for reasons including violation of these terms, conduct outside the scope of the referral-only model, or any act that places the brokerage's license at risk.
No refund applies on termination by either party. Referral fees already received by the brokerage on referrals you originated before termination will be paid out under the compensation terms above.
Relationship to the signed sponsorship agreement
These terms are supplemented by the sponsorship agreement you sign at onboarding. In the event of a conflict between these terms and the signed sponsorship agreement, the signed sponsorship agreement controls.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date above reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be communicated to your email address on file.
